Pucisca

But your journey doesn’t stop there. Get to know the white-stone treasure of the island, nestled within one of its many picturesque coves. The quaint town of Pučišća was named among the ten most beautiful villages in Europe. It won’t take you long to uncover why.
Lovrecina beach
Let your tanned skin thrive for the next two hours in this Adriatic wonder, located among the pearly rocks. It’s time to switch off and relax in a bay or nearby waterfront cafe bar. This beach is best for water games because of its ideal location. Thanks to its warm sand and small waves, gather your beach props and have some fun in the glistening sea of this popular sandy beach.
Pučišća
Nestled in one of the island’s deep crevices, Pučišća sits in a cove with stunning surroundings. Famous for its picturesque natural scenery and white stone houses with terracotta rooftops, this stone masterpiece is a favorite spot on the island to hide from the summer crowds.
Interestingly, Pučišća is home to the stonemasonry school, one of three such schools in Europe. It is famous for the traditional techniques and tools which have been unchanged since the Renaissance period. You can buy a one-of-a-kind souvenir from Pučišća made of white stone from the local stonepit, the very same stone used to build the White House in Washington D.C.!
